A crew that handles fine art, antiques, pool tables, safes, and pianos week after week, putting every piece on the right board under proper straps and pads.
Specialty & Piano Moving in Reno
Some pieces need more than muscle. Across Reno the Peerless crew handles pianos, safes, slate pool tables, antiques, and fine art, bringing the proper gear and the patience a valuable piece deserves, while Cora maps out the tricky ones herself.
What sets it apart
Sheer bulk calls for one kind of prep, delicate surfaces call for another, and every specialty job on our schedule gets both. An upright or a baby grand, a loaded safe, a slate table, a marble top, or a framed canvas, each rides its own board under straps and padding, with the stairs and doorway path scouted out before we lift a finger.
What we specialize in
- Upright and baby-grand pianos
- Safes and heavy equipment
- Slate pool tables and game tables
- Antiques, fine art, and pottery
How we protect it
- Piano boards, dollies, and straps
- Custom crating when it is needed
- Extra padding and corner guards
- Routes planned for stairwells and tight turns
Three Steps to Moving Day
From the first hello to the final box carried in and set down in the room where it belongs.
Tell Us About the Move
Run through your move with Cora and the Peerless team, whether by phone, a short video call, or the online form. Cora can also swing by for an in-home estimate, and back comes a fair hourly rate or a written flat quote, never a soft number that swells once the truck is loaded.
Lock In Your Date
Claim your day and we assign the right crew and truck, then square away the gate pass and HOA move-in rules your community asks for, any building certificate of insurance, and room for the truck on a long hillside driveway.
We Carry the Load
The same trained Peerless crew wraps, loads, drives, and places every piece, and we plan the run around I-80, US-395, McCarran Boulevard, and the Mount Rose Highway to keep the day on schedule.

What Our Customers Say
Thank you Cora and Joe, and crew!! We were really in a pickle, our other moving company didn't show. I'm so glad I called Cora, they came to do an in-person appraisal same day I called, and the next day they packed all our stuff, and we were on our way to our new home in a new state! Not a thing was broken or damaged, they were on time, and followed covid best practices. The price was what they quoted. They were honest, dependable, had a transparent business model, and earned our trust. I highly recommend!
They were absolutely professional, fast and great! Will definitely use them again!
Highly recommend this company for your move. They make your move a breeze all the way from setting up your appointment to unloading the last box. Very nice people and very professional. 10/10 recommend!!
Questions We Hear a Lot
Will you move pianos, gun safes, and the seriously heavy pieces?
Yes, that is regular work for the Peerless crew. Upright or baby grand, a loaded safe, a slate pool table, a hefty antique, or a framed canvas, every piece rides the right board or dolly under straps and padding, and we chart the route through narrow doorways and any stairs ahead of time.
What will my move cost?
Two things drive it: the volume you are moving and how tricky the access turns out to be on each end. A crew of two with a truck starts at $110/hr, and a written estimate is in your hands before a single box is lifted. Want one locked figure instead? Cora can set a flat quote, and the number she names is the number on your invoice. Cross a state line and the math shifts over to weight and mileage.
My home is in the Old Southwest, a narrow older lot with mature trees. Can you handle it?
That is a lot of what we do. The Newlands-area streets near the Truckee River are full of established homes on tight lots with big shade trees and older staircases, and the Peerless crew is used to snug turns, low branches, and a longer carry from the curb. We measure the doorways and stairs ahead of time, pad the rails and jambs, and take the heavy pieces slowly. A foothill home with a long, steep driveway gets the same planning, so an older house or a hillside lot never turns into a problem.
What if a piece gets damaged?
Careful padding makes it rare, but if a piece does pick up a ding, we point it out then and there and start the claim the same day. Before the job we lay released coverage next to full-value, so you head in knowing exactly how a claim would go.
Can I move or cancel my date?
Of course. Let us know at least two days ahead to shift or cancel your date and the full deposit comes back. Each condition appears in plain words on your booking, so there is nothing to guess at.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Peerless Moving Assistance carries Nevada licensing and insurance, and Cora and Joe staff every job with their own trained crew, with no broker wedged in the middle taking a cut. Want the coverage details? Say the word and we will run through the valuation choices with you before you commit to anything.
