How do you work out an out-of-state price?
We build the number from the weight of your shipment or the space it takes up, the miles it has to travel, and a delivery window you can count on. Your goods ride on our truck with our crew the entire way, so nothing is passed to a broker or swapped between trailers at a warehouse. Our own drivers run the long-distance leg from first mile to last.
What will my move cost?
Two things drive it: the volume you are moving and how tricky the access turns out to be on each end. A crew of two with a truck starts at $110/hr, and a written estimate is in your hands before a single box is lifted. Want one locked figure instead? Cora can set a flat quote, and the number she names is the number on your invoice. Cross a state line and the math shifts over to weight and mileage.
Will you handle the packing?
As much or as little as you like. Want every room boxed up? Done. Prefer to keep it to the kitchen and the breakables? We can scope it that narrow too. We arrive with heavy-duty cartons and paper, label each box by the room it belongs to, and once the truck is empty we can unpack and get you settled at the new place, the moving and organizing help Peerless is known for.
What if a piece gets damaged?
Careful padding makes it rare, but if a piece does pick up a ding, we point it out then and there and start the claim the same day. Before the job we lay released coverage next to full-value, so you head in knowing exactly how a claim would go.
Can I move or cancel my date?
Of course. Let us know at least two days ahead to shift or cancel your date and the full deposit comes back. Each condition appears in plain words on your booking, so there is nothing to guess at.
Are you licensed and insured?
